Really, it does.  For various reasons.

Years go by and people forget.

Situations disguise themselves appearing different when they really aren’t.

Politicians are uninformed of the historical events since their governing abilities are not the main factor that gets them in power.

We are an unimaginative species driven by greed which blinds us from seeing the possible outcomes.

Religion and dogma order leaps of faith that most of the times turn out bitter for humanity.

So in the long term, history repeats itself.  In the long term though and not after a few months as we could see now if Cameron really goes through with blocking social media to stop the riots.  As if that would help.  Obviously Cameron you didn’t care enough to follow recent news in Egypt.  I hate to state the obvious but there are a few things I would like Cameron to consider before going forward with this:

1) Free speech is the very basis of human rights. It’s the fucking first amendment for crying out loud. Who are you to decide who gets to have it and who doesn’t?

2) Ask Egypt what happened when they tried to block social media. Are really you so ignorant?

3) Seriously to what extend do politicians think they can detain people from their rights using lame excuses as reasons and that they can control them using really unintelligent methods a kindergarden kid would use? You are now in direct competition with Christofkias as to who is the stupidest
